藝術創作者王虹凱將分享她二項創作計畫《Hazzeh》& 《Borom》，探究在這世界的各種頻率網絡裡，從未被聽過、從未被重複述說過、卻仍可被理解的語言究竟是什麼？革命？生存的必要性？人與土地和其他主體之間難以分割的關係？距離與差異要如何產生意想不到的基進連繫？長期試問這些問題，她受邀前往約旦、巴勒斯坦與南韓濟州進行創作。

Hong-Kai Wang will talk about her two recent art projects Hazzeh and Borom respectively produced in Jordan, Palestine, and Jeju, South Korea. She asks tirelessly: how does one root in places one doesn't visibly belong? And what does it mean when one can? What is it that can connect one to the sound of a language one has never spoken? What if revolution or the drive to survive is one of those languages never heard, never iterated, yet understood? And how do distance and difference connect radically? Both projects play with various frequencies in the world that connect humans not only to the other humans but also to the land and other living beings across different times and geographies. 王虹凱生於臺灣虎尾，畢業於國立台灣大學、美國紐約新社會研究學院，目前為奧地利維也納藝術學院PhD in Practice博士候選人。其調研取向創作關注殖民與離散的勞動和基進歷史，透過「聽」的政治，探討權力、生存經歷和歷史交錯點上被遮蔽、排除或消失的知識和實踐，以表演、聲音、工作坊、裝置、出版等形式，實驗不同的聆聽與聚集模式，探觸時／空交錯中欲望生成、共存想像和知識維度之間複雜與多變的關係。

Born in Huwei, Taiwan, Hong-Kai Wang is an interdisciplinary artist, researcher and educator based in Taipei. She is currently a PhD in Practice candidate at Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Wang’s research-based practice confronts the politics of knowledges lost in colonial and diasporic encounters at the intersection of lived experience, power, and “listening.” Through experimental modes of sonic sociality, her multidisciplinary work seeks to conceive of other time-spaces that critically interweave the production of desire, histories of labor, economies of co-habitation, and formations of knowledge.

Lecture Introduction :
Dr Biung Ismahasan (b.1984) is a curator, artist and researcher from the Bunun, Atayal and Kanakanavu Nations, three of Taiwan’s sixteen Indigenous Nations. He received a PhD in Curating from Centre for Curatorial Studies at the University of Essex in the UK, with a thesis ‘Indigenous Relational Space and Performance: Curating Together towards Sovereignty in Taiwan and Beyond.' His research relates to contemporary Indigenous curatorial practice and aesthetics, focusing on Taiwanese Indigenous contemporary art. Ismahasan emphasises issues of participation, performativity and the historiography of Indigenous curation and exhibition design. He has received a MA in Cultural Policy, Relations & Diplomacy from the Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship at Goldsmiths, University of London in 2014.

His most notable curatorial projects include Dispossessions: An Indigenous Performative Encounter 2014–2019, an international performance art exchange of Indigenous artists from Taiwan. He was a curatorial assistant of Let The River Flow: The Sovereign Will And The Making of A New Worldliness in April 2018 at Office for Contemporary Art Norway in Oslo; he has curated Dispossessions: Performative Encounter(s) of Taiwanese Indigenous Contemporary Art in May 2018 at Goldsmiths; he had curated yearly theme-based exhibition Ngahi’s Routes: When Depth Become Experiment which have collaborated with seven Taiwanese Indigenous artists at the Taoyuan City Indigenous Cultural Centre in 2019; he recently curated the Rukai Nation installation artist Eleng Luluan’s Between Dream in Àbadakone | Continuous Fire | Feu continuel at the second exhibition in the National Gallery of Canada’s series of presentations of contemporary international Indigenous art between November 2019 and October 2020.

彼勇．依斯瑪哈單（生於1984年）來自高雄山區那瑪夏區，擁有台灣原住民族布農族、泰雅族與卡那卡那富族的血統，目前是一名獨立策展人、藝術家和研究員，2021年1月取得英國艾塞克斯大學 (Centre for Curatorial Studies, University of Essex) 哲學與藝術史學院 策展學研究中心 策展學博士。研究涉及原住民策展實踐和去殖民主義美學之相關議題，專注於台灣原住民當代藝術策展，以 「履踐式表述行為原民性」 的詮釋、原住民創造主權、藝術合作實踐、策略的倫理學與原住民知識論、原住民策展和展覽設計史。2014年11月獲得倫敦大學金匠學院 (ICCE, Goldsmiths, University of London) 創意與文化創業研究所 文化政策、關係與外交碩士學位; 2015年進修愛丁堡大學愛丁堡藝術學院 (Edinburgh College of Art, The University of Edinburgh) 藝術學 MPhil in Art 課程。

著名的策展計畫實踐包括《剝奪：2014-2019年原住民族的履踐相遇》，這是台灣原住民藝術家的國際藝術與文化交流。最近策劃的其他展覽，包括2019年桃園市原住民族文化會館年度展《地瓜路徑：當深度成為實驗》與七位來自不同部落且不同領域的原住民藝術家合作；2019-2020年擔任魯凱族裝置藝術家安聖惠 (峨冷．魯魯安) 加拿大國家藝廊 全球原住民當代藝術五年展 延續之火《Àbadakone》的協同策展人。在2018年曾擔任 挪威政府文化部 挪威當代藝術中心 薩米當代藝術文件研究展《讓河流順著流：主權意志與新世界的創造》的策展助理與專輯出版作者。

講者個人簡介資料Speaker Bio:
Dr Jayde Lin Roberts is an interdisciplinary scholar of the built environment who focuses on Asian Cities. In 2018, she completed her 1.5 year term as a Fulbright US Scholar in Yangon, Myanmar where she examined discourses development in a context of rapid and unplanned urbanization. In 2016, her monograph, Mapping Chinese Rangoon: Place and Nation among the Sino-Burmese was published by the University of Washington Press, which has been reviewed in journals such as Contemporary Asia, Southeast Asian Studies, China Quarterly, China Review International and Sojourn as well as web-based media such as New Books in Southeast Asian Studies and Tea Circles. As a spatial ethnographer and advocate of participatory design and research, she is currently investigating heritage-making in Yangon and Mandalay and is a member of the Southeast Asian Neighborhooods Network.

在《話語》這最後一門課的課堂上，申先生將授課的上限定為「同感」，也就是將與學生的溝通設定為最重要的課題。先生強調「工夫／學習」是所有活著的生命之存在形式，亦是透過人類知識遺產而打造未來的創造性實踐，更是超越當代文脈的「脫文脈」之創造性實踐。　──白元淡（韓國聖公會大學教授）

申榮福說的是自己從一趟最遠的旅行歸來之後，其中讓生命產生了變化，也給自己作為一個左翼人找到了新的出發點。⋯⋯相對於「游牧主義」，申榮福並不走上逃逸路線，他「開始了一個很遠的旅行，就是走上自我改造的道路」。　──王墨林（資深劇場導演暨藝評家）
