亞際社會迷你影展 Fall 2020
Inter-Asia Societies Mini Film festival-Fall 2020
本計畫將針對亞際社會地區不同形式的衝突與不平等議題，挑選紀錄片、劇情電影、論文電影、實驗電影等類型作品，規劃一系列迷你影展，並邀請導演及相關學者進行座談。本影展計畫希望透過這些影像的視角，讓我們從不同角度思考社會衝突以及相關歷史脈絡的問題；本計畫也希望鼓勵學生展開對於紀錄片、論文電影與相關形式之影像研究與創作的工作。
The mini film festival presents a series of documentaries, drama films, essay films, and experimental films that feature different forms of conflicts and inequalities in various regions of inter-Asia societies. Invited directors and scholars will join our post-screening discussions. Through this project, we aim to provide different perspectives on inter-Asia societal conflicts and shed new light on their historical contexts. In the process, we also encourage our students to embark on their own audiovisual creation or research on documentaries and essay films in hope of bringing in a new generation of film creators, critics, and scholars.

議題 Topic：『鏡子或錘子？—影像創作與社會實踐的探索之旅』
"Mirror or Hammer? —An Exploratory Journey Towards Film Making and Social Practice".
此放映會分成人權、環境與移工三個子題，交錯播放各子題短片與討論，導演也會分享其紀錄片製作的理念或透過影片對於台灣社會的思考，活動最後將進行約30分鐘的綜合討論。
This mini film festival will divide into three sub-themes, which is human rights, environment and migrant workers. Each screening will end up with discussion that related to the three sub-themes. The director will share his introspections on the film he produced.The screening will end with a general discussion and Q&A.
