苅部直，東京大學大學院法學政治學研究科教授。擔任東京大學日本政治思想史講座，為當代日本思想史重要學者，著有《光の領国 和辻哲郎》、《丸山眞男――リベラリストの肖像》等著作。曾獲得「三得利學藝賞」等多項奬項。
Speaker: Tadashi Karube is Professor at the Graduate Schools for Law and Politics, Tokyo University. He teaches seminars on the history of Japanese political thinking, and is an important scholar in the history of Japanese thought. His published books include Watsuji Tetsuro: The Realm of Light and Masao Maruyama: Portrait of a Liberal. His numerous awards include the prestigious Suntory Prize for Social Sciences and Humanities.
