2018國際文化研究大會「青年專場」徵稿/Crossroads 2018_Pre-Conference " Youth and Cultural Studies" CFP
Crossroads文化研究大會由國際文化研究學會（Association for Cultural Studies）主辦，是全球文化研究界最盛大的會議，首屆會議於1996年在芬蘭召開，以後每兩年在世界不同地方舉辦一次。2018年8月，國際文化研究學會（ACS）的第12屆雙年會（Crossroads in Cultural Studies 2018）將在上海大學召開。本次大會分為兩個部分：4天（8月12--15日）的大會（conference），和為世界各地青年安排的1天（8月11日）的青年專場（pre-conference）。
青年專場（pre-conference）
為了給來自世界不同地區和國家的研究生、青年教師和文化實踐者提供對話和交往平台，國際文化研究學會和上海大學特在雙年會正式開始前一天（即2018年8月11日）舉辦文化研究 「青年專場」（pre-conference）會議。[注：有關8月12--15日大會（conference）的參會詳情，請查看當代文化研究網。]
我們不在乎你是否擁有「文化研究」的身份標籤，但希望你是一個關心文化研究的青年學人，或者是一名從事文化工作的實踐者。在「青年與文化研究」的總論題之下，任何與「青年與文化研究」相關的具體主體，皆受歡迎。
青年專場（pre-conference）不限定為論文陳述形式。在考慮到場地和時間可控的情況下，鼓勵呈現方式的創新。比如，從事民謠唱作的panel，可現場進行歌曲表演；從事獨立電影創作的，可現場播放電影短片……
Pre-conference的相關說明
1、我們希望參會者自行組織panel參會，以panel的形式提交申請論文提綱，一個panel一般由4人組成，時間不超過90分鐘；同時也接受單篇論文的申請，但以前者優先。

2、凡有意組織panel參加會議，但暫時還沒有找到合適夥伴的朋友，歡迎將聯繫方式和打算組織的panel主題等相關信息給我們，我們將在當代文化研究網「人民公園」欄目發佈為你尋找學術夥伴。青年專場郵箱：Crossroads2018-pre@outlook.com
3、參會panel的提交系統將於2017年11月30日24:00關閉。主辦方將在2018年1月完成審稿，然後以郵件形式告知你是否入選。凡入選者，需要繳納一筆註冊費，請參閱網頁：

4、研究生、青年教師及文化實踐者可向本人所在學習或工作單位申請會議經費資助。同時，
國際文化研究學會針對具體情況（主要是第三世界國家），亦可提供適當資助，請查閱：ACS offers a small number of grants to assist its members from under-represented regions with travel, accommodation or registration expenses.
5、大會議以英文為工作語言。不能使用英語者，請各panel自行組織和邀請現場翻譯。
6、凡是參加Pre-conference的青年朋友，在上海參會時間並不限定於8月11日這一天，而是有資格參與到8月12--15日的大會（conference）全程。

The 12th Association for Cultural Studies Crossroads in Cultural Studies conference will be held in Shanghai, from August 12th to 15th 2018. And there is a day for Pre-Conference which will be held on August 11th. We hope you can organize a panel to attend the pre-conference , or send this information to your friends and encourage them to come to the pre-conference.
The pre-conference is for current Masters or PhD students, any other kinds of young scholars , social activist. Topics related to Youth and Cultural Studies are accepted.
The form of pre-conference is not limited to presentation of paper. We hope to see the form of innovation. For example, the panel who are engaged in folk singing and research, can perform songs on the spot; while producing or researching short films, the film clips can be played on the spot ……
